Nokia launches 2 new smartphones with Symbian upgrade: "(Telecompaper) Nokia anounced the new Nokia E6 and Nokia X7 smartphones, aimed at business people and entertainment enthusiasts respectively. The phones contain updated Symbian software, with new icons and usability enhancements such as improved text input, a faster browser and refreshed Ovi Maps. The update also adds business features such as hardware accelerated encryption and and new e-mail features. The upgrade, nicknamed Symbian Anna, will be available in the coming months for the Nokia N8, E7, C7 and C6-01 phones as well. The E6 features a full qwerty keypad and 640x480 resolution touch display, as well as Microsoft Exchange, Communicator Mobile and SharePoint software. It comes with Wi-Fi and HSPA connectivity, GPS, an 8 megapixel camera, and pre-loaded apps such as JoikuSoft Premium, F-Secure Mobile Security and World Traveler. The X7 features a 4-inch Amoled display, 8 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and HSPA connectivity, and HD 720p video. It comes preloaded with the Galaxy on Fire HD and Asphalt 5 HD games. No pricing details for the phones were released. Nokia said both phones should be available in Q2."
