iPhone 7 Rumors and Speculation
Following Apple's newest iPhone releases this fall, users are already looking ahead to the next generation.

There's never a dull moment for speculators of the latest and greatest to be churned out of Apple's development labs, and there's already significant buzz picking up regarding the company's (still distant) upcoming iPhone 7. Historically, Apple has had a relatively predictable release schedule for the new generations of iPhones, so fall 2016 is when users have pegged the first sightings of the iPhone 7 to occur. Another interesting phenomenon recognized by enthusiasts is that Apple tends to make structural body changes to the iPhone every other year (falling on even numbered years), which means 2016 may see a structurally re-vamped iPhone.

After the launch success of the iPhone 6s, Apple is expected to pull out all the stops with the next generation. According to leaks dug up by 9to5mac.com, there are several potential versions of the iPhone 7 in development with varying physical characteristics. Some speculations even go as far as to suggest Apple may be considering removing the single button from the front face of the gadget. Aside from the removal of the iPhone's button, other rumors support the notion that Apple may remove all but one port, a Lightning connector. This would include the removal of the current standard headphone jack. Other reports hint at adding an A10 processor, a better camera, and up to a whopping 4 GB RAM.
