Motorola puts brakes on DROID 2 Global Gingerbread update. Verizon Wireless announcement earlier this week, that the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Motorola DROID 2 Global is rolling out to users now. But on the otherhand Motorola has said that the update is not ready and is not available!
Unfortunately, it’s not provided any indication as to when such an update will start rolling out. Speaking on its support forums, a Motorola representative said that the update is not rolling out anytime soon and that there is no date given as to when it will be available for users. So that’s all, let’s hope for the best.
