PlayStation Phone, Xperia Play Launching Soon: "

The latest Sony Ericsson Xperia phone, the Xperia Play, has just been approved by the FCC – indicating a launch date could be announced soon.

The new Sony Ericsson Android phone will be launched on Verizon but it’s not yet clear whether it will be a 3G or 4G phone. The big buzz around the Xperia Play is that it’ll come with around 60 PlayStation games from game developers like Electronic Arts and Game Loft.

The Xperia Play runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon II 8655 1GHz CPU and Adreno 205 processor and has a 4 inch multi-touch screen with a dedicated slide-out game control panel for the PlayStation games complete with joystick.
