With the Nokia N8, it’s possible to change most alerts – from the ring tone, to message tones, to the alarm.
Nokia N8 Ultimate User Guide!
Click the Menu button to get started, followed by Settings and Profiles. Click the profile you want to change the tones for, and then tap Personalise.
From here, you’ll be able to change all the sounds on your Nokia N8. Click on Ringing Tone to change the song that plays when somebody rings, and Message Alert Tone to change new message sounds.
You can also change a host of other options from here – including the volume, tones for when you press onscreen buttons, and the alarm clock tones.
